P much. Older dude so… yknow statistically but. 76. Sudden call for heart surgery. Everything went well, they wheeled em out and something went haywire and boom.

I was in La that week talking at a conference. Cool new experience.

That Sunday I saw him, that Monday I left for la and mom had to help him go to the hospital, got that news day of or Sunday.

I get back Friday, super out of it, take a nap and wake up to my mom manic FaceTime “the doctor said _ has no pulse”
Routine was I go up to the backwoods (lol) every Sunday, say whatup and play with dog
Yeah… don’t miss on moment at this stage with fam.

That being said — the death thing is weird

That call from my mother forever etched in my brain
It became a lot more survival mode than I ever experienced
